Abel Davila is the Founder of Ascension Global Services, an international search firm headquartered in Barrington, Illinois, United States. The firm also has a consulting practice focused on leadership and shaping corporate culture and was founded after a career in human resources spanning almost 20 years.

Abel has held various leadership roles in HR talent acquisition within the Global Life Sciences and Consumer Markets. Abel’s management experience lends itself well to assisting companies that are seeking to drive significant change, ranging from turnarounds to high growth, mergers & acquisitions, and new product launches. Abel Davila’s industry and consulting experience enables him to identify the competencies and critical success factors that drive high-performing leaders and teams.

Abel Davila has also led various Hispanic and Veteran employee business resource groups, fostering diverse and inclusive work environments within Fortune 500 organizations such as Abbott Laboratories, AbbVie, and Walgreens Boots Alliance. Abel has also participated in speaking engagements with organizations such as DiversityInc, ERE Media and the Illinois Search & Staffing Association.

In 2022, Abel Davila founded and established the Shekhinah House Ministry, a worldwide preaching and teaching ministry focused on teaching the sufficiency of God's word and exposing the false teachings of the prosperity, health and wealth gospel. Abel Davila effectively blends ministerial, entrepreneurial, and industry applications in his ministry to enrich and empower a diverse audience with the skills and abilities to take kingdoms for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Abel Davila is also a United States Marine Corps Veteran and obtained his undergraduate degree from DePaul University of Chicago. He is currently pursing his MBA through Kellstadt Graduate School of Business studying strategy, execution, and valuation. He is also a husband, and father of two sons.
